Gratitude
marked by motivation
happily compliant
strumming to death
percolate a long dang time
Time to live
Disproportionate peace
Sometimes sick
We always need more power
the slow birth of gratitude
it’d be easier to quit
prone to wander
the bumpy ride down
a well-worn grave
thanks again (and again)
open to receive
chiseling out
my daily thought life
Jesus is inconvenient
one at a time
slapping sense into the senseless
lulled into safety
one regret at a time
staying grateful takes work
another chance
a helpful nuisance
